Rancho Fire in Cottonwood, CA. 6/19/2025

The fire was about a mile from my house. There was not a lot of panic around town; we all waited in anticipation about whether or not this would become the first dreaded fire of the season. The summer school was evacuated down the road. The Fire Department got to it quickly with minimal damage.
